Birchwood Bender

Saturday 30th will be our one and only trail running series race of the year.

In the heart of our coveted Fort Mcmurray trail system. We hope to have about 100 runners out and enjoyed our beloved Birchwood Trails and raced their hearts out.

Check in opens at 9:00am
Races started at 10:00am

Costs

$15 per runner early bird pricing and $35 per the week of for either distance. Signup here: Store

Kids Run and Toddler Dash is free, and had registration prior to the start of the run.

Route

Toddler Dash (0-5 years old) --> 50-100m OR Kids Run - (6-12 years old) --> total of 1-2km

Sport (one loop for a total distance of approximately 6.5km )

Enduro option ( two loops of the same course for a total distance of approximately 13km)

Results

AWARDS

There is a small award adult races for top 3 male and top 3 female finishers in each distance.

SAFETY

For racer safety there will be no dogs, strollers or baby joggers, iPods or headphones or Nordic walking poles allowed.

As this is an off road race the terrain will be uneven - please wear appropriate footwear.

We are running in bear country. Be bear aware, bring a bell or whistle, and bring bear spray if you have it.
